Fredrik Haren’s The Idea Book has been included into the recently published American book The 100 Best Business Books Of All Time: What They Say, Why They Matter, and How They Can Help You.
After years of reading, evaluating, and selling business books through their company, CEO-800-READ, Jack Covert and Todd Sattersten are some of most respected experts on business books and that is where they publish this listing of best business books.
"There are 11 000 new management books published each year in America so to be included in a compilation of the 100 best business books of all time is a very big honor", says author Fredrik Haren.
The Idea Book is one of only ten presented under the category ‘Innovation and Creativity.’ It stands out as a shining example of design excellence due to its unique concept–besides containing an abundant collection of management insights coupled with anecdotes on creativity; innovation and inspiration, it also doubles up as a workbook or journal with blank paging after each narrative. This enables readers to personalise their own copies by filling them with ideas and thoughts, making each copy unique. Due to its innovative marketing strategy, The Idea Book has also managed to sell more copies in a much shorter amount of time, thereby making it a great case study for business creativity.
As one of very few non-American books, The Idea Book made it into their list. The fact that it was self-published makes it an even bigger success to be included as one of the best business books of all time together with well known books such as Flow, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, In Search of Excellence, Only the Paranoid Survive and The Tipping Point.
Fredrik Haren, who now resides in Singapore, hopes that the recent praise for The Idea Book will inspire others to launch products and services that can compete on a global scale.
He says: "As Singapore recently has been pushing the need for developing business creativity, we hope that Singapore-based companies and organizations will appreciate that a book by a local author has made it on a list together with famous names such as Peter Drucker, Edward de Bono, Malcolm Gladwell and Thomas L. Friedman."
