Global marketing services leader Acxiom Corporation has been named a Stevie award winner for marketing excellence in the 2009 American Business Awards.
Acxiom was recognized for its Acxiom Evolution direct mail campaign, which increased awareness of the company’s broadening role in helping clients deploy integrated, interactive marketing initiatives.
“This recognition acknowledges the breadth of talent we have within our global marketing team,” said Michael Darviche, Acxiom’s chief marketing officer.
“Our campaign mirrors the kinds of marketing strategies we develop every day to help clients reach across channels with effective messaging for innovative customer engagement.”

Acxiom was also recognized this year as a finalist in two other marketing categories:
The awards were presented during ceremonies at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. The ceremonies were hosted by Cheryl Casone of Fox Business Network and broadcast nationwide on radio by the Business TalkRadio Network. More than 200 executives across the country participated in the judging process to determine the Stevie Award winners and finalists.
