IBM and Neo@Ogilvy received top honors in the second annual Vibrant Awards, which recognizes the best in in-text advertising in the United States and Europe.
The 2009 Gold Award went to IBM and Neo@Ogilvy New York for the "Smarter Planet" campaign. The Vibrant Awards are presented by Vibrant, the world leader in in-text advertising.
Hundreds of entries were evaluated by a panel of industry experts in the United States and Europe, with winners selected based on three criteria: the creativity of the campaign concept and its ability to align with words within web content; how well in-text advertising contributed to the online campaign overall; and whether in-text advertising effectively communicated the brand message.
The Vibrant Awards 2009 panel of judges included David Rittenhouse, Senior Partner, Media Director, Neo@Ogilvy New York.
