Deadline: 31 December 2009
Mohawk Fine Papers is calling all printers and designers to show off projects printed on HP’s Indigo Press for the i-Tonie Awards.
Mohawk celebrates printers who are producing high-quality work on HP Indigo digital color production presses. Enter amazing vignettes, consistent crossovers, beautiful blue skies or true-to-life flesh tones into the i-Tonie Awards for a chance to win the Best of Show title, an i-Tonie award and a cash prize of $1,000.
A distinguished jury of industry professionals will convene to review all entries, seeking projects that exhibit intelligent design, maximization of HP Indigo capabilities and excellence in production.
This year’s jury includes Frank Romano, Professor Emeritus, School of Print Media, Rochester Institute of Technology; Bill Garno, Director, Printing Applications Laboratory, Rochester Institute of Technology; Todd Kalagher, President, Finlay Printing; and Brett Traylor, Partner, Thinkso Creative. They will select a Best of Show winner, and honorable mentions will be cited for distinctive work. Best of Show receives $1,000 and honorable mentions receive $250 each. Award winners will be announced at the next annual Dscoop Conference.
Work including, but not limited to, direct mail, books, letterheads, identity systems and brochures, and produced on Mohawk papers between January 1, 2009, and December 31, 2009, is eligible for entry.
The Mohawk i-Tonie Awards competition is open to projects printed on any of Mohawk’s i-Tone or Kromekote Digital paper grades, and printed on a HP Indigo press.
