Under the terms of the agreement, Getty Images' photographers will undertake various photographic assignments for the CLT20 in October, including working with their commercial partners. As the official photographic agency, Getty Images will also be granted certain exclusive access to the players throughout the event. Getty Images will also manage and license the visual content, offering match action photography from at least three photographers at every game as well as exclusive imagery from other events related to the CLT20 event.
The tournament boasts some of the finest talent in world cricket including Adam Gilchrist, Virender Sehwag, Brendon McCullum, Dwayne Bravo and Ajantha Mendis. It will feature 12 teams: The Deccan Chargers, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Daredevils (India); New South Wales Blues and VB Victorian Bushrangers (Australia); Cape Cobras and Diamond Eagles (South Africa); Otago Volts (New Zealand); Wayamba (Sri Lanka); Trinidad & Tobago (West Indies) and Sussex and Somerset County Cricket Clubs (England).
