Chicago's current office director, Mike Hatcliffe, will return to his original role as head of the agency's U.S. Corporate Practice, directing strategies for corporate clients across the Ogilvy PR network, which he has undertaken since October 2005.
Friedman joined Ogilvy PR in 1999 and has been instrumental in growing and leading business as well as solidifying the agency's reputation as one of the most respected communications firms in Chicago. He has held several positions in multiple practice areas, most recently serving as SVP, Group Director of the Chicago office's Corporate Practice. Friedman has worked with a variety of clients including, Hudson, Deloitte, CDW and LG Electronics. A search for a new Chicago group director is now underway.

Hatcliffe has more than 20 years experience in public relations, working for major corporations in the U.S. and Europe. His expertise lies particularly in promoting and protecting corporate reputation and issues and crisis management. He has counseled several of Ogilvy PR's clients on thought leadership and issues management.
