In his new role, George will manage all aspects of revenue and sales solutions for BuzzMedia, including the continued development and execution of the company’s industry-leading branded social programming campaigns across its top entertainment properties, which include Buzznet, Celebuzz, TheSuperficial, Stereogum, WWTDD, Absolute Punk and Just Jared, among many others.
A web solutions and marketing expert, George spent close to four years at MySpace culminating to VP, Integrated Marketing. While there, he developed the company’s monetization strategy and was instrumental in launching a full suite of advertising products. George has also held management positions at IGN Entertainment where he oversaw advertising products, sales development and market intelligence, and at FCB in San Francisco where he led accounts for clients such as Hewlett-Packard, SEGA, Palm and LucasArts into the emerging world of digital marketing.
