Fairfax Radiology recently implemented revolutionary CT scanners in all five of its CT locations across Northern Virginia. These scanners provide up to 33 percent clearer images while reducing radiation exposure to patients by an average of 50 percent compared to prior generation scanners. A marketing and advertising campaign was launched in September to increase awareness about this superior technology among referring physicians and patients.
"We wanted a campaign that was creative, innovative and compelling. We are honored to receive recognition of our efforts from marketing and communication industry professionals," said Bill Allison, CEO Fairfax Radiological Consultants.
The creative and interactive elements of the campaign, including online strategies and television advertising, were developed by Qorvis Communications.
The 2009 MarCom Awards competition was administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. There were nearly 5,000 entries in this international competition, which recognizes outstanding creative achievement by marketing and communication professionals.
