Over the past twenty years, Rosero and Bolthouse have been instrumental in setting the tone of Los Angeles nightlife and have had their finger on the pulse of the ever-evolving industry landscape in not only events, but collaborating on many of the city's landmark hotels and fine dining establishments. As publishers the pair will focus on further developing 944's brand relationships in Los Angeles.
For Bolthouse and Rosero it seems fitting to join the 944 team, whose motto is much like their own: Fashion, Luxury, Entertainment, and Lifestyle. Along with serving as publishers of the magazine, the two will continue to run Bolthouse Productions, the event production company they formed in 1990 that has boasted clients such as HBO, Mercedes Benz, T-Mobile, The Palms Hotel and Casino and Dolce & Gabbana.
Additionally, Bolthouse and Rosero have collaborated on luxury properties SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills, Chef Michael Mina's XIV restaurant, Katsuya and renowned nightclubs such as Hyde Lounge from inception to opening and beyond.
Bolthouse is also a much sought after DJ, radio personality and accomplished photographer. Rosero, a Los Angeles native, began her career in fashion as a buyer. She has worked with Prada, Jimmy Choo, Cartier, Chrome Hearts, Paul and Joe, and helps create the decor and design for the VIPs at Smashbox during LA Fashion Week.
Having recently launched editions of the magazine in Detroit and Atlanta, 944 Magazine's portfolio now includes nine regional publications in the country's premiere entertainment destinations. The magazine continues to add distribution points and new markets, and expects to launch a New York edition in 2010.
