The ARF has announced its 2010 Great Minds Awards which allows agencies to thank clients, colleagues or partners for their contribution to the advertising research industry.
The ARF Great Mind Awards recognize individuals who contribute to the excellence and advancement of advertising research. They honor rising stars, research innovation and outstanding member contributions.
The Great Mind Awards are open to both ARF member companies and non-members (except the Member Recognition Award).
Candidates for a Great Mind Award can be nominated in one of four award categories:
ARF Rising Star Awards: For Celebrating the Next Generation of Research Stars
Where will our future research and industry leaders come from? Rising Star Awards are presented to people with seven years or less experience in the research industry who have demonstrated outstanding potential via their ‘early career’ professional accomplishments.
ARF Innovation Awards
For Development of the Most Innovative Research Idea
Innovation is critical in the rapidly changing, dynamic world of marketing and advertising. The ARF Innovation Awards celebrate people (or teams) who, over the past year, have created proven research, analytical, or technology methods or solutions – peppered with imagination, creativity, and ingenuity – that clearly impacted business success.
ARF Member Recognition Award: For Outstanding Service to the ARF
The ARF exists to serve the industry, but also benefits from numerous individuals who also serve our organization. The ARF Member Recognition Award distinguishes those people who take time from their important ‘day jobs’ to contribute ‘above and beyond’ in important ways to the ARF and, as a result, to the industry.
Lifetime Achievement Award
For those who have made lifetime contributions to the industry and to The ARF.

Nominations are due by February 5, 2010. Awards will be presented on March 24, 2010 as part of Re:think 2010 The ARF Annual Convention + Expo at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.
