The patent, one of more than thirty pending patent applications filed by Feeva, enables broadband and mobile network operators to give online publishers, ad networks, brand and local advertisers reliable audience intelligence to deliver advertising and content to their desired segments. Feeva's technology incorporates privacy by design, and has the unique ability to deliver market segmentation for any Internet connected device (DSL, Cable, WiFi, WiMAX, Mobile, IPTV) without the use of cookies, IP addresses, behavioral targeting or personally identifiable information.
Among other capabilities, the patent enables demographic information and user preferences to be distributed to any website or online advertising or media server, which can in turn provide the corresponding digital media to the user. This directed media may comprise of an advertisement, coupons, video, music, or any other online digital media which is customizable to the user.
