Both organizations recognized the work Mangos created for the global reinsurance company Harbor Point. The challenge was one of balance. The tone of the 2008 annual had to walk a fine line between communicating confidence in the future, without appearing to be insensitive to the realities of the current economic environment. The approach used the metaphor of a ship's journal to underscore that, even in the worst of conditions, the right principles will serve a vessel well.
Bradley Gast, president of Mangos says, "I'm delighted that our annual for Harbor Point was met with such great response from our client. To receive this kind of industry recognition from CA and Graphis puts a cherry on top with chocolate sauce."
In addition to winning the two Graphis awards and Communication Arts' recognition, Mangos has won 15 ADDY awards this year from the Philadelphia Ad Club, including a "Best of" for Mixed Media, eight gold-level and seven silver awards.
