In his expanded role as COO, Coren is responsible for new business development and partnering with Wei Wei Chen, chairman and CEO of Leo Burnett Group Shanghai, to supervise daily operation, in addition to overseeing the Coca Cola account and other multi-national clients.
A 15-year veteran in marketing communications, Coren possesses a breath of know-how across disciplines, industries and markets. He has experience spanning APAC, Europe and the U.S. Prior to joining Red Lounge to lead some of the most remarkable creative campaigns for
Coke in China, Coren was the Managing Director for Leo Burnett Bangkok. His international client portfolio includes Heineken, Diageo, Kraft Foods, General Motors, Kimberly Clark and more.
The two veteran Burnetters, Amanda Yang and Gordon Hughes, were both appointed as Co-Executive Creative Directors of Shanghai office in June 2009.
Yang moved to Leo Burnett Shanghai in June for this appointment from the Guangzhou office, where she played a critical role in orchestrating award-winning campaigns for P&G Tide, Gain, Whisper, Vidal Sassoon, along with other local clients. Prior to Leo Burnett Guangzhou, Amanda was a Creative Director at Y&R Southern China.
Hughes, married to Yang, has been a Burnetter for over ten years. He was most recently Managing Director for DDB Guangzhou before returning to Leo Burnett Shanghai in June. Prior to DDB, he was the Group Creative Director for Leo Burnett Hong Kong, where he worked on Hennessy, Prudential, IFC and several P&G brands. Besides Hong Kong, Hughes also worked before at Leo Burentt Taiwan and Guangzhou.
