MiMTiD Launches Copyright Infringement Search Web Application
MiMTiD Corp. has announced the release of its MiMTiD Copyright Infringement Search web application, a new and exciting way to help protect copyright owners from copyright infringement.

The new web application provides copyright infringement search, DMCA (Digital Millenium Copyright Act) take down notice submission, management and tracking services. MiMTiD enables copyright owners to search for and locate infringed content and submit DMCA take down notices to infringing sites and search engines.

"Using our proprietary search, copyright owners can quickly locate infringing sites and search engines and file DMCA take down notices. What's new is that we are now capturing advertiser information. Advertisers appearing along side the infringed content are enabling these sites to stay in business. At this stage in the game, it is critical that we link the advertisers to the infringed content," says MiMTiD Managing Director John Dupuis.

This is great news for musicians, songwriters, authors, publishing companies, record companies, movie production companies, and all those who are the owners of copyrighted materials that are being victimized by copyright infringement on the Internet.

"An important strength of our technology is its ability to direct the MiMTiD Copyright Infringement Crawler based on customer DMCA submissions, real-time, enabling immediate discovery of new infringing sites," says David Cox MiMTiD CEO.

The MiMTiD institutional product called Valkyrie is designed for large record labels, movie studios and book publishers. Data captured by both the web application and Valkyrie is processed with our clustering technology in our data center to help us tune our search algorithms to discover new sources of infringed content and to link the advertisers to the user reported infringements.

"We are very excited about the prospects for the new web application and encouraged by the growing interest in our institutional business. With the introduction of Valkyrie and the web application, MiMTiD hopes to make a contribution that will bring the 'Wild West of Infringement' phase of the Internet to an end," says John Dupuis.
