Dawn Lauer Rejoins MWW Group
PR firm MWW Group has hired Dawn Lauer as VP in its corporate communications practice.
Lauer, who began her career at MWW Group in 1999, brings more than ten years of experience leading and executing strategic communications campaigns across a variety of industries including healthcare, financial and professional services, B2B and higher education. In addition, Lauer brings expertise in corporate branding, positioning and thought leadership programs, as well as investor relations, crisis communication and social media initiatives.
Before MWW Group, Lauer was management supervisor in the corporate communications and digital divisions at Peppercom, where she was responsible for driving strategy, brand positioning, and the execution of hybrid thought leadership strategies through traditional and digital platforms. While at Peppercom, Lauer worked with such clients as Rockefeller Consulting Group, American Beverage Association, Tyco International, and Columbia University, among others.
Previously, Lauer worked as an account supervisor at GCI Group, specializing in corporate positioning campaigns appealing to media, investors and employees. While there, Lauer implemented grassroots marketing plans, media relations campaigns and conducted media analyses and media perception studies. Furthermore, Lauer counseled C-level executives on current regulatory issues, capital markets and deal activity including mergers and acquisitions, IPOs and crisis situations.
