5W Public Relations has hired Elizabeth Gaerlan as an SVP. She joins the agency's Consumer Division after spending four years at M. Silver Associates where she spearheaded the communications efforts for many consumer accounts.

Previously, Elizabeth held senior positions in the Consumer Marketing groups of Porter Novelli and Edelman, large PR agencies.

Gaerlan is a branding expert who specializes in consumer PR and lifestyle marketing. She is an accomplished PR professional who possesses over 12 years of solid experience in creating and implementing integrated communications campaigns that incorporate media strategy, special events, partnerships, media relations and social media.
