Adobe Offers One-day Conference and Expo for Creative, IT Professionals

Adobe Systems Incorporated today announced the Partners in Publishing Conference & Expo to be held in New York City on January 20, 2005. The Conference is designed to teach creative professionals, IT professionals and managers in the publishing field practices to produce high quality creative work while keeping an eye on efficiently managing their workflow. Tools discussed will include Adobe's award-winning publishing platform, Adobe Creative Suite, including the new Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional. In addition, an exhibition of over 25 sponsors and partners will be onsite, including platinum sponsor Xerox, Documentum, Em Software, IBM, MEI, Modulo Systems, Sansui, Stibo Catalog, Triple Triangle, Typefi, vanGennep, Woodwing, and XMPie.
The conference is two sessions, a general session featuring presentations by industry luminaries in the field on topics ranging from practical tips and tricks to streamlining a PDF workflow, to multilingual publishing in Adobe™ InDesign™ CS. The second session is a management track and will be moderated by Mark Walter, senior analyst of the Gilbane Group and former writer for Seybold Publications. The management track is geared toward IT professionals and managers and will cover integrating XML into publishing workflows and determining how to improve workflow efficiency and ROI, among others.
