Coming to Toronto this April is a free event that aspires to give more than it takes. Back for its third year now, Toronto’s only Digital Media Job event continues to grow and be relevant. Attendee numbers have surged from 350 at the debut in 2008 to 590 last year in 2009. The organizers are not expecting any less.
For one afternoon, leading agencies and studios will be giving face time to attendees seeking work. After introductions by the respective participating companies looking to hire, job seekers will be in the better position to know who they want to talk to for that prospective chance at gainful employment.
Besides the face time, there will be as well, the various industry leaders and their insights into their fields. Already confirmed on this list of presentations are agencies DraftFCB, Disney Interactive, Creative Group and Grip.
Some of the job types available include positions for flash designers, art directors, technical leads, application developers, interactive motion designers and business development managers.
