Time Warner Promotes Eva Semple Davis

Eva Semple Davis has been promoted to EVP and general manager of Warner Premiere, Warner Bros. Entertainment’s direct-to-consumer content production division.

In her new role, Davis manages Warner Premiere, which develops and produces films such as the successful “Another Cinderella Story” and “Scooby-Doo! The Mystery Begins” (co-produced with Cartoon Network), and the upcoming “Free Willy: Escape From Pirate's Cove” and “Lost Boys: The Thirst.” Warner Premiere also develops and produces content for Warner Bros. Digital Distribution such as the groundbreaking “Watchmen” motion comic and digital visual album, “One Eskimo,” as well as the “Superman: Red Son” and “Batgirl” motion comic series.

In addition to managing Warner Premiere, Davis will continue to oversee global acquisitions of home entertainment content for Warner Home Video. Recent notable acquisitions include the Sesame Street franchise and anime stories based on the Halo videogame.

Davis joined Warner Bros in 2004, launching a then-new ethnic marketing group to acquire home video content targeted at diverse consumers. She also played a key role in executing multicultural marketing initiatives for Warner Home Video’s mainstream releases.

With a strong background in consumer-products marketing, Davis came to Warner Bros. from Coca-Cola where she led marketing and business planning teams for the Western U.S.
