Byrne is the editor-in-chief while Deyn took the creative editor role at the magazine named from a combination of the last two letters of Byrne’s first name and the first two of Deyn’s.
“It’s the places that we go, things we buy, products that we use,” Byrne told New York Magazine in a previous interview. “We’re writing it for our peers, and we hope people who hang out with us in New York and London will find new stuff to be obsessed with.”
Naag currently features sterling cafes and restaurants around New York City, bargain fashion finds and beauty product trends in addition to music reviews and write-ups on new bands.
Besides the usual content, Naag features an impressive fashion editorial section that launches into a full-screen view that readers scroll through, much like in a print magazine.
