Nike Campaign Lights Up City, Literally
Nike’s “Write The Future” campaign has merged World Cup activities and the power of social media, creating a large-scale interactive experience that will light up the city of Johannesburg, South Africa, where the football tournament is currently being held.

Fans can submit a 57-character message through Facebook, Twitter, Mxitt (a South African social network), and QQ (a Chinese social network), choose a footballer’s portrait to accompany the message, and have it projected onto the Life Center, one of the city’s tallest skyscrapers.

Each night will see 100 user-generated headlines displayed on Africa’s largest interactive LED screen -- it is a massive 44 metres high by 42 metres wide, and is 30 storeys high.
