The Brazilian football team might already be on the plane back home from the South African tournament, but that hasn’t stopped the creative community in the South American nation from doing their jobs.
Sao Paolo-based agency Africa has on 8 July unveiled the official logo for the 2014 World Cup to be held in Brazil.
Titled ‘Inspiration’, the emblem features three intertwined hands forming the iconic shape of the most coveted trophy in the football world.
Africa beat out two-dozen other agencies with the yellow-and-green design that was launched by Brazil president Luiz Silva himself.
Given Brazil's shock exit from this current World Cup, the logo launch comes at the right time, helping the saddened football-mad nation move on.
