Can Creatives Succeed where Politicians Fail?

Creatives everywhere, listen up. Saatchi & Saatchi have come up with a brief that, for 60 years, has yet to be solved: the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Forget all the roadmaps, empty promises and tired politicking; 'The Impossible Brief' offers you chance to come up with an ‘out of the box’ solution to the perennial Middle East problem.

The objective, as per the project website, is “to break down the barriers between the two nations that for a long time have been physically close, yet mentally worlds apart”.

‘The Impossible Brief’ encourages anyone to submit their original, creative ideas that they think can provide a workaround the Israeli-Palestinian quagmire.

The most inspiring solutions will be selected by a joint panel of Israeli and Arab advertising people from the BBR group, and a winner will receive a ticket to the 2011 Cannes Lions awards ceremony.

It might truly be impossible to solve, but this is a great opportunity for designers, writers and web developers everywhere to flex their political muscles to the world.

Start submitting your ideas now at the project's website.
