It also names Los Angeles as the world’s top tweeting city with 1,244 tweets-per-minute, just edging out New York at 1,176. Outside the US, Tokyo, Paris and Toronto are home to the most active Twitter users.
What’s interesting is how the infographic pegs important Twitter figures to their Facebook equivalent, further fueling the competition between the social media rivals.
According to the infographic, Facebook is still far ahead of the micro-blogging service, which only commands 7% of the US market, compared to Facebook’s 41%.
