A Melbourne-based poster competition wants designers everywhere to start smiling again.

The Positive Posters group have issued a call for entry for their annual poster competition, and this year’s theme is ‘A Glass Half Full’.

“We would like you to design a poster in response to this that will have a positive influence on the viewer,” goes the brief on the Positive Poster website.

Submissions close on 10 September, and winners will have their messages of optimism flaunted around Melbourne along with other more tangible goodies like a Wacom tablet and Adobe’s CS5 software suite.
