Novels and magazines might be moving into the e-book realm, but for design titles, print is the only way to go.
A new bi-annual magazine on typography, 8 Faces, is one of those print devotees. And of course, it’s gorgeous.
Printed on uncoated 150gsm paper stock with a foil-blocked cover, the magazine lives up to its subject matter: good design.
The first 8 Faces issue feature interviews with eight designers, illustrators and typographers including Erik Spiekermann and Ian Coyle.
With just 1,000 copies, the magazine has sold out on pre-orders. There’s a PDF version of 8 Faces as well, for those of you who need your hands on it—but this seems a little besides the point.
