Survey: Users Not Satisfied with Facebook
Despite being the most popular website in the US, consumers don’t like Facebook, according to the 2010 American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI).

The social network scored 64 points out of the 100-point scale, putting it in the bottom 5% of all measured private sector companies. Privacy concerns and the frequent website changes were reasons cited for Facebook’s low score.

“Facebook is a phenomenal success, so we were not expecting to see it score so poorly with consumers,” said Larry Freed, president of ForeSee Results, who co-produced the survey.

However, when it comes down to social media sites, MySpace just doesn’t cut it in the harsh online world. The beleaguered site scored 63 on the ACSI survey.

Wikipedia led the category—which also includes YouTube—with a score of 77. Its consistent user interface gave it the high score.

In contrast, Google received a score of 80, while Microsoft’s Bing got a respectable 77.
