Developed by researcher Jay Silver, 'Singing Fingers' is an interactive iPad app that allows you to paint using your fingers while recording your voice.
Users can start off with finger-painting on the interface—which is just a blank canvas—and as they sing or speak, the app will record every sound made. These sounds can then be played back by retracing the painting on the iPad screen.

Update: 'Singing Fingers' was in fact developed by both Eric Rosenbaum and Jay Silver and not just Silver himself as indicated in the article. Apologies for the mistake!
