The iPhone app world just got a little more random fun injected into it. A bunch of film enthusiasts The Beta Society have launched the ‘Inspirataur’ app, something of a cross between FFFFound and Brian Eno’s ‘Oblique Strategy’ cards.
The retro-inspired app doesn’t really do anything except let you view images, words and videos from any category every imagine by the internet. And that’s a lot of content.
Meant to “inspire and help creativity”, the app also accepts submissions for just about anything to be used as part of the ‘Inspirataur’ catalog.
Yes, it sounds a little silly, but if you’ve ever been stuck in that creative dead-end, who knows—this might just come in handy.
