The winner for Saatchi LA’s ‘Funniest Tweet’ contest has been declared just a few hours ago by creative director Mike McKay.
@Pegleginton —also known as Jonathan Pelleg—got McKay most tickled with his post: “You have to be concise on Twitter. Like a circumcision, everything extra gets cut off whether you like it or not.”
After winning, Pelleg tweeted, "It's pretty hard work getting work."
All the shortlisted entries are up on McKay’s site here.
But for those who didn’t make it, fret not. The ‘Funniest Tweet’ contest is the first in a series of Twitter-based competitions. Future themes will include “The most boring 140-character tweet” and “the darkest 140-character tweet”.
