If you’re a typography student, graphic designer or just mad about fonts, try The Typography Manual app.
And it’s no WhatTheFont, preferring the educational and informative routes instead. Jam-packed with stuff like typesetting, kerning and various font rulers, The Typography Manual has enough content to fill a 60-page book.
Justin Stahl, the app’s creator, claims the app has all the “essentials of a desk reference in a pocket resource”. So if you’re interested in the technical terms and information that goes behind typography, $3.99 shouldn’t be too heavy on the wallet.
