There might be too many typefaces around to stick to one all the time, but just which font do you pick?
If that question has left you frantically scrolling through your font library, use this flowchart to make that all-important choice a little easier.
The ‘So You Need A Typeface’ chart by Julian Hansen does exactly that—find you a font based on what project you’re working on.
These range from logos to books to infographics themselves, with all sorts of serif, sans-serif and even script fonts. Even Comic Sans makes an appearance.
Before you get your typophile head all in a rush, it’s probably a good time to say the chart isn’t completely serious though. Some boxes on the flowchart read “I must say that this flowchart is looking hot” and “You cried when watching Terminator”.
