The work of German designer Markus J Becker, the Perelin lamp series has a wave-like structure that plays with light projection. The statement pieces also change color when switched off—from a monochrome colorway to pale pink.

But the true wow factor of the lamps is their flexibility. Made of electroluminescent sheets, they can be folded “almost like paper” while remaining study and self-supporting.
