Google CEO Eric Schmidt is the Devil in Taiwanese Animation
In response to the recent spat about ‘net neutrality’, Taiwanese news group NMA has posted an animation that summarizes quite beautifully the entire issue. The best part? Google CEO Eric Schmidt sprouting a pair of horns as he coverts with Verizon.
NMA’s stance on the whole thing is obvious: that the deal between the two corporations “breaks the principle of net neutrality”.
The animation touches on previous Google-created snafus like the Street View car one, where Google picked up almost 600GB of private data, creating headlines everywhere.
And the finale is especially epic, showing Google-owned microdrone aircraft swooping over protestors across the globe from space. It does smack a little of sci-fi ‘Big Brother’ paranoia, but it’s a bit too close to reality to completely dismiss.
