Wieden+Kennedy, creators of the hugely popular Old Spice commercial, has just picked up an Emmy for Outstanding Commercial, reports AdWeek.
The spot, together with its star ex-footballer Isaiah Mustafa, is something of a pop culture phenomenon, having spawned numerous parodies and copies.
A social media campaign, in which Mustafa posted video replies to questions posed by fans, further entrenched ‘The Man Your Man Could Smell Like’ in the pop culture history books.
And looks like the beefy Mustafa is on the Hollywood trajectory; he’s just been offered two movie roles (alongside A-listers too, mind you) and is set to appear in the TV series Chuck, according to a Mashable post.
