Those Powerpoint type ‘animations’—you know, the one that spells a word out letter-by-letter—can be downright annoying. After all, letters that fly across from one end of the screen to your slide aren’t exactly the best way to wow a client or boss.

Enter Moshun, a fully-animated typeface designed by Dutch design studio Calango. The font mixes art deco stylings with the geometric craze dogging many a modern graphic designer’s book.

And the animations aren’t too shabby either—lines and shapes cascade or bloom gently to form the letters. Yes, it might be misused the same way those Powerpoint-style ones are (in body copy), but at least it’s a lot gentler on the eyes.
