Sure you can give them away for a good cause or drop them in the recycling bins, but how about turning your old books into jewelry?
UK-based jewelry maker Jeremy May is reappropriating old tomes into wearable rings, bracelets and necklaces. He packs pages tightly together to form blocks, and then starts cutting and finishing them to a high gloss.
May even invites people to send in their favorite books to be transformed into a jewel, so do away with the shelves of musty old books and wear them on your fingers instead.
Bet you can’t do this with your Kindle.
