Admire the beauty of the snow storm, without having to brave through the physical conditions of such weather. Artist Tokujin Yoshioka sends tons of feathers flying at high speeds to recreate the natural phenomena; and all of this is contained within a huge 50-foot long glass box.
We think that Yoshioka's choice of 'snow' is more suitable than machine-made snow: lightweight and wispy, these feathers look far more ethereal and aesthetically appealing than even actual snow itself.
Snow is part of the ongoing Sensing Nature Exhibition at Mori Art Museum in Tokyo. As the installation is best viewed in action, watch the video below to be able to better appreciate the effects of this simulated snow storm.
