Designed by Stuart Fingerhut, the lowering or lifting of Kinema's ringed flaps changes the intensity of light. As each of these rings can be individually adjusted, the hanging lamp's shadow play thus provides the user with quite a variety of dramatic lighting options.

Some assembly is required as the lamp is shipped flat-pack and without a bulb. Still, at least this is one lamp that you could customize; increase Kinema's brightness during reading time or dim the lights for a romantic dinner.
