Paint Holographs with an iPad
Using long exposure photography and a few iPads, these bunch of designers have created a series of holographs that look as magical as the iPad is advertised to be.
A collaboration between design firms Dentsu London and BERG, three-dimensional typography was rendered into animation before being uploaded onto an iPad. To ‘flesh out’ the full effect, the iPad was dragged slowly across a surface, while a camera captured a long exposure of the motion, so all that’s left are the hovering holographs.
It sounds a little complex, so watch the video to see how these holographs were made, step-by-step.
