This is perhaps the most literal execution of ‘invasive advertising’. DDB Chile, in advertising for a security company, injects some fear into condo owners in Santiago with a box that clandestinely appears inside apartments.

The boxes are initially no thicker than a piece of cardboard, and once slid under an unsuspecting resident’s door, it springs up into a full-sized box with the tagline: “Breaking into your apartment is easier than you think”, according to this Copyranter article.

DDB Chile did the publicity stint for ADT Security, but instead of selling the company’s products, we think owners were more freaked out or pissed off to care.
