This bank isn’t like any of those faceless corporations heading the top of gray skyscrapers on Wall Street. Instead of severity and austerity, the Sugamo Shinkin Bank prefers things a little more fun.

The vivid window colors dotting the otherwise clean white façade is the design of emmanuelle moureaux architecture + design, who worked around the motto of “a joy to be happy”. It’s a palette that worked its way into the bank’s interiors as well, making the whole place a lot less stifling than what you’d normally expect from a bank.
