Gap can’t catch a break. Hours after unleashing its new logo upon the internet, there have been countless reports deriding it, and there's even a parody Twitter account. Now, Joseph Ippolito decided to Gap-ify prominent brand logos (see below).
There are three easy steps, according to Ippolito:
1. Change your font to Helvetica Bold.
2. Take the most iconic part of your brand and shrink it by a ton.
3. Place the icon in the top-right corner behind the next and add a slight diagonal gradient.
We’re not sure when all the logo bashing will come to a close, but knowing the internet’s short attention span, probably a couple of days.
