Last week, it was announced that the entire Star Wars trilogy will be re-released in 3D. And maybe this animation artist didn’t take that too well.
Eric Power has produced this short animation condensing the whole saga in three minutes, using only paper to communicate Lucas’ opus. Space dogfights, stampeding AT-ATs, lightsaber duels…all given the rather un-technological spin of paper art. Needless to say, it’s a great watch.
The video was created for musician Jeremy Messersmith, who, if you’re into the whole contemporary, quiet folk thing, is definitely worth a listen.
