We’re a day late on this one, but it’s still deserving of a post. Mozilla’s Firefox browser has celebrated its sixth birthday yesterday.
To celebrate the occasion, Mozilla are encouraging fans of the browser to send in ‘FoxCards’—a postcard with a message about Firefox—to be featured in its Mountain View or Paris offices and also to win Firefox “goodies”, wrote Mozilla’s Erica Jostedt in a blog post.
Firefox is still widely used (31.5% share), coming in second in the browser race behind Microsoft’s Internet Explorer. More than 400 million people use Firefox across the globe, and the browser is also available in more than 70 languages.
