Wieden+Kennedy Named ‘Agency of the Year’ by Ad Age, Creative Online
The agency that gave us the Isaiah Mustafa-led Old Spice campaign, Wieden+Kennedy Portland, has been named as ‘Agency of the Year’ by Ad Age and Creative Online.
Both publications awarded the shop the prize for the work it produced in 2010—from its spots for Target, Chrysler and, of course, Proctor & Gamble’s Old Spice.
“The agency’s work in 2010 embodied the best qualities of each medium, but didn’t feel wedded to traditional notions of those media,” wrote Creativity, a notioned echoed by Ad Age, which said W+K’s work that year “hit the bull’s-eye”.
Creativity Online is part of the Ad Age group.
