Apple Reportedly Working on Smaller iPhones: Bloomberg
One version of the new phone will be cheaper and smaller than current ones, Bloomberg cited one source as saying. It will sell for about US$200 without a contract, the news outlet said.
The model will be about one-third smaller than the iPhone 4 and is aimed at a mid-year launch, Bloomberg said, adding a caveat that Apple might not release the product despite working on it.
Apple is also working on a ‘dual-mode’ system that allows a single device to work with both GSM and CDMA standards.
