Using Photographs as Infographics
Infographics usually comprise graphical charts, but in his latest project, Danish designer Peter Orntoft used photographs instead.
Orntoft staged each photograph to fit in a ‘graph’ or ‘chart’. For example, in an image of a crucifix, the designer color-coded beads on the necklace to represent a certain statistic (above).
Each photograph used is also relevant to the data published. The crucifix image features statistics on how many Danes find it unethical to wear a cross to work, for instance.
