The Art Directors Club (ADC) has announced the upcoming launch of the ADC Young Guns 9, a competition for creatives and designers aged 30 or younger.
Creatives who fit the profile are encouraged to submit a combination of professional and personal work in their respective fields. Entries can be submitted online from 15 March up till 16 May.
Jurors for this year’s awards include art director and designer Chris Rubino; founder and creative director Tracy Boychuk; School of Visual Arts faculty member Benita Raphan; Pentagram partner Luke Hayman; and others.
The Young Guns poster (above), which features manipulated portraits of previous years’ winners, was designed by Nessim Higson and its Fight Club theme is meant to express the message that “creatives fight for their work, now it’s time it battles for you”, according to the ADC.
