Riccardo Tisci to Replace John Galliano at Dior?

Christian Dior has finally found itself a new head designer, if Twitter is anything to go by.

According to The Daily Mail, Riccardo Tisci, current creative director of Givenchy, is expected to take over John Galliano's creative roles at the iconic French fashion house after Style.com editor Derek Blasberg tweeted that he "overheard the news after a Katy Perry concert in Paris."

The tweet has since set off a media frenzy in the fashion world. Dior has neither denied nor confirmed the rumor.

John Galliano was dismissed by Dior after 15 years at its creative helm following a saga involving his Anti-Semitic remarks in public. Galliano has since publicly apologized for the remarks. It is illegal to spread such sentiments in France and the British fashion designer is currently awaiting trial.
